Level 1 in Essential Digital Skills at WAES
Developing skills introduced at Entry 3, this is a continuation to understanding the world of technology for home and work users. Become competent, safe and productive, developing new skills and building your confidence. You will need a reliable internet source and a computer or laptop, but some learners maybe entitled to support with new equipment.
Areas covered on the course include – Using devices and handling information, creating and editing, communicating, transacting, being safe and responsible online.
At level 1 you will have a sound knowledge of using IT for a range of purposes at home and at work. You will be familiar with choosing the correct product for the task and to be able to create and edit a range of documents to suit the intended purpose.
