Oxford University may make ‘woke scores’ part of recruiting criteria
According to reports, Oxford University may use ‘woke scores’ as a criterion for hiring academics.
The need of infusing EDI – equality, diversity, and inclusion – into ‘all recruitment’ is apparently stated in a consultation document from the university’s race equality taskforce.
According to the Daily Telegraph, it proposes that ‘excellent citizenship and/or devotion to EDI work’ be ‘important consideration’ for applicants.
However, other academicians are opposed to the proposal.
